Terms of Use

Personal Use License:

Action will be taken against anyone found to be in violation of these terms.

All products by Meg B. are to not be redistributed at all unless written permission has been given.  This includes freebies and any alteration of the product (ie coloring, resizing, etc.)

Personal Use items may be used for Scrap for Hire (digital & hybrid) as long as:

  • Only scrapbooking LOs and greeting cards are allowed, limited to only a few printings… nothing mass produced.
  • Credit is given
  • Product must be flattened when given to client, so nothing can be extracted.
  • The finished product is posted to OWD’s gallery at shop where product was purchased -OR- flickr group -OR- Facebook fan page.
  • If the client wishes the LOs/product not be posted online, I still would like to receive notification.

Personal Use Items may be used in submissions to publications and online galleries as long as Ocean Wide Designs by Meg B. is given credit.

Use of these products in ANY commercial manner or mass production or high visibility is not permitted. This includes:

  • logos
  • forum signatures (even for your own personal signature!)
  • web site design (personal sites included!)
  • creation of any other digital products, etc.

Selling hybrid products (ie cards, gift tags, etc) is permitted with the purchase of a $20 CU Hybrid license that covers only one previously purchase product.  Sales in digital form are not permitted for CU Hybrid products.  IE making a custom candy wrapper with a kit and selling the digital file to a customer for mass printing.

Commercial Use License:

Legal action will be taken against anyone found to be in violation of these terms.

Commercial Use items may be used for S4H & designing PU items as long as:

  • The original product must be altered in some way. If being used to create freebies or S4H products, the item must be altered by more than just recoloring (ie with Paper Pops patterned paper makers, an additional texture added on top of the recolored paper would be considered more than just recoloring.)
  • The product may not be used to create CU items.
  • You MAY NOT sell or distribute a kit, paper pack, element pack, etc comprised of more than 40% of Ocean Wide Designs CU products in any certain capacity.  For example, a kit made with patterned Paper Pops may not have more than 40% of patterned papers made with OWD’s Paper Pops.
  • Glitter styles & other layer styles MAY NOT be redistributed, but they may be used to make items for sale as long as the item is flattened and there is no attached layer style. Alterations of the styles/jpgs MAY NOT be redistributed, ie recoloring or adding additional style attributes like embossing.
  • The product may not be used in any commercial and/or print manner [advertising, logo design, selling cards and other "printables,"  designing websites (for yourself and others,) etc] without purchasing the Extended Use License.
  • The product may be used to create forum signatures ONLY if the forum signature is not being used in any affiliation with a business (like digital scrapbook designs, products for sale, any kind of online store, etc.)  The product used must be given credit in the signature.
  • Lightroom Presets and PS Actions may be used for prints as long as those prints are for your customers and yourself. If you wish to use photos edited with the presets or actions in any of the manners forbidden in this TOU (IE advertising, your website design, etc,) an Extended Use License may be purchased.
  • Credit is appreciated but not required.
