Meg
I grew up among the orchards and vineyards of the Central Valley, but I have always been drawn towards the Pacific Coast. Today I still reside in the valley, but would move to the coast at the first opportunity presented to me.
In June 2010, I married the love of my life, Jeff. Together we love traveling all over California, and eventually we would like to cover the globe. We both suffer from cabin fever, we cannot go more than a month or two without going on a day trip to the Sierras or California Coast. Our favorite places to roam are Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks, Capitola, Monterey, Santa Cruz, San Luis Obispo, and Catalina Island. Pretty much, anywhere not where we live.
Since we don’t have kids, we spoil our dog Riley. Riley is often the subject of our photos, and is my constant companion while Jeff is at work. She was a stray dog, but definitely has the length & funny legs of a Dachshund… but the spunk and face of a Jack Russel. If she could have her way, every day would be a new road trip and lots of new things to smell. Instead, she’ll have to settle for the occasional trip to the post office or dog park.
We also have three new additions to our family, three chickens named Patty, Selma, and Marge! We’re really hoping they are all pullets, otherwise we may need to re-home one or two!
Friends are also a huge part of my life, even when we can’t see each other as often as we used to. The best form of therapy will always be an unscheduled ice cream trip with one of my gals! Or sushi. Or tri-tip sandwiches. Food, friends, and laughter!!!
Never one to stick to just one thing for very long periods at a time, I have many hobbies. I enjoy sewing, hiking, geocaching, knitting, embroidery, fishing, photography, traveling, writing, and much more. I also can never really complete a craft project for myself, I still have the embroidery project that was supposed to go over our guest book tables at the wedding. Opps.
I was raised by a very creative family, and have loved to take photos since I received my first camera for my third birthday. Today I use a Canon Rebel T3i, Mac OSx 10.5, Photoshop CS54, Lightroom 3, and a variety of other things.

I do believe I’m still owed a quilt from… probably about 5 or 6 years ago, haha.
LOL, come back to America for good and bring me some of your Belgian chocolate and we’ll work something out
